Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, caramel, light chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, caramel, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy amber, small head. Cocoa aroma. Mid sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Slighly salty and rather superficial with unfortunate notes of Floris Chocolat. Cocoa powder finish.

Bottled (BB 01/2009). Murky brown color, small off-white head. Caramel, yeast and chocolate in the nose. Fizzy carbonation. Chocolaty toffeish (not really sweet) or cocoa powder flavor. Light grassy notes. This is like some Danish "brown ales".

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is fruits, some slight roasted notes as well as mild chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, some sweet malts, and mild fruityness. Balanced, but a bit yeasty.

Muddy brown color; generous head. Faint chocolate aroma, light cardboard. Medium bodied, with a light residual sweetness, some malt flavor, chocolate, in the end a touch of roasted malt. Basic.
