Our traditional Bavarian Hefe Weizen with a twist, we added Oregon cherry puree to make our summer seasonal fruit beer. Brewed with 50% German wheat malt and 50% German Pilsen malts that is very lightly hopped. Yeast fermentation flavors of bananas and clove meld nicely with the cherry flavors creating a light, refreshingly fruit flavored bit of Summer.

16 oz pour on draft at Mad Fox Falls Church for their sixth anniversary. Weizen glass. Hazy ruby color with beige head. Aromas of cherries, light herbs. Tastes of cherries, herbs and cloves, light banana. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice cherry flavor.

On draft at the brewpub’s 6th anniversary celebration it is a cloudy red raspberry soda color with a pink tinged head. The aroma is malty and th taste is a sweet tangy flavor of tart cherries and a refreshing finish for a summer afternoon

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a murky pinkish color with a thin ring of head. Aroma of tart cherries, pale wheat. The taste is tart cherries, sweet cherry pie filling, mild wheat. Medium bodied.

Full glass at brewpub. Poured a vibrant, clear red color, pink head. Aroma was banana notes, cloves, and sweet cherry puree notes. Flavor was banana, cloves, with cherries. Refreshing. Not bad.
