A true giant of a pale ale. Canadian Pale Ale and caramel rye malts give a spicy, toasty malt skeleton to this monster. The muscles? All of the American Warrior and Simcoe hops we can fit into the kettle to give a piney, citrus flavor and aroma to balance the massive malt. And the roar? 9.7% ABV! Alright everyone. Time to tame the beast!

Part of the sampler flight at the brewpub on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Poured a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was grain notes, caramel characters, toffee perhaps, plenty of tropical citrus character to it. Flavor was light malts, citrus character, and rye spice. Pretty refreshing for that ABV.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin offwhite head. Fair head retention. Aroma of toffee, citrus, rye, melon and tropical fruits. The taste is toasted malts, rye, floral hops. Medium bodied.
