Can (no date) pour from Julio's Liquors. Appearance is opaque yellow with no discernible sparkle, lots of floaties and yeast tubes at the bottom of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with decent retention and light lacing. Aroma is citrus, tart fruit and herb. Taste is citrus (mildly astringent), fruit, mildly herbal. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and dry, yeasty finish as taste. Overall, this was purchased in late May so know it's at least 2 months old but with no born on date, who knows. Did that play a factor? Aroma and flavor are kind of muted and the fruit is nondescript. A bit thin for DIPA ( especially NEIPA).

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Somewhat stale fruity and green hops, a bit sweetish, bitterish finish, medium-bodied.

473ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Intense, citrusy and piney, minimally floral and grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon peel, hints of lemon balm, a touch of lime, disguised tropical fruit, biscuity malty background with a touch of salt cracker. Taste is dry, citrusy, piney and grassy hoppy, slightly resinous, hints of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of lime, later some orange and disguised hints of tropical fruit as well, pale malty basis with a touch of salt cracker, liquorice overtones; lingering hoppy finish. Oily texture, soft palate, gentle but efficacious carbonation. Sadly the hop flavours are concentrated to such an extent and partly open up only lately that bothersome effects of liquorice and burnt rubber can't be ignored.
