Keg at PP Carlsbad, 21/04/14. Clear dark amber/chestnut brown with reddish hues and a good sized beige covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, pine, grapefruit, hops, candied orange peel, caramelisd sugars, light spice. Taste is caramel malt forward, bubblegum, sweet licks, red grapefruit, bitter orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Decent hoppy red/strong.

Draught at toronado. Hugely resinous nose, pine, grass, caramel, chocolate. Smooth, soft body, with again huge resins in the flavor, caramel, chocolate earth and pine. Dirty as hell but lovely.

On tap at Sour & Bitter. Clear dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is minerally, fresh and crisp. Nice malt base - salty caramel and toffee. Hops are nicely skunk but also with fresh tropical fruits. Really well joined up. Crisp minerally finish.

Sour & Bitter Festival CPH 2012. Amber with a small tan head. Aroma dominated by caramel with plenty of alcohol. Sweet caramel malty flavour with lots of alcohol, and quite hot alcohol too.
