Notting Hill Amber is a full-bodied creamy amber coloured beer with the citrus aroma and flavour well balanced by the sweet slightly toffee maltiness and a bitter dryness that lingers. There is a little flowery hop throughout. Its drinkability belies its strength.

Bottle at home, from Oddbins NHG, 03/02/14. Pours a lightly hazed dark amber with a well appointed light beige head that thins and retains. Nose is bitter fruit, light orchard, mineral tones, earthy hop presence, bitter orange. Taste comprises pithy orange, caramel notes, dank hop presence, grassy, lemon sherbet, light floral notes, chalky minerals, earthy light tropical fruit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, crisp finish. Nice easy drinking affair, plenty of flavour for sub 5%, dank undertones - good stuff.

Bottled 330ml ABM. Clear deep amber-copper color, small beige head. Earthy-spicey, lightly resiny hoppyness, some caramel in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel malt base, then piney-spicey hoppyness covers the intial sweetness. Lingering bitterness. In its style, nice brew.
