Sample at the taproom. Clear golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Grassy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Clean, sweet malty nose. Very light body, a subtle and very dry maltiness with quite some sulphur and a dry and hoppy finish. Extremely clean and quafable, and one of the most true to style US Kölsches I’ve ever had. 290512

A friend hauled this from the brewery to me. 22 oz bomber. Poured into a mug. Light golden color, however could not see thru the beer. Aroma is very nice, surprisingly. AA grassy, lager-like aroma. Mellow. The taste is basic pale, not off-putting. I guess this maybe a good session bee. Smooth finishes with no bitterness.
