A high proportion of premium wheat is used with modest amounts of Challenger and Goldings hop varieties to produce a light, smooth, clear, refreshing beer with a distinctive palate.

A clear orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with loads of wheat and light dusty hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with a light touch of wheat. An OK beer, but boring compared to the rest of the St. Peters lineup.

Bottled at Haket, Gothenburg. Clear, golden beer with a small off-white head. Fruity and sweet aroma with caramel. The flavor has malt, caramel and sweetness. It has bitterness without too much hoppiness. Medium body. Decent beer, but a bit strange for a wheat. (060824)

Bottle, at Haket, Göteborg. Amber colour, low head, looks like a bitter. Leather and dusty attic in the aroma, some fruit too. Taste of lager with some caramel, nothing spectacular, some hops in the finish. Not bad, but not worth the price.

Bottled. Deep golden/amberish colour. Aroma of a wheat beer, along with lots of paper. Flavour is quite the same with fruits added. Quite thin and watery and one-dimensional.

Bottled (BB 03/2007). Amber color, not much head. Papery, cardboard malty nose. Fruity, light banana flavors, otherwise malty. Slightly sweet in the aftertaste. Strange wheat beer.

(Bottle at Haket in Gothenburg) Clear brown color, big white head. Small sweet scent. Taste starts off with old beer, but turns a bit fresh in the after taste. Very different! Medium mouth feel, low bitterness. A bit sweet corn after taste.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Fruity nose with a foul phenollic edge. Medium body, dry fruitiness, heavy phenols with a bitter finish. 11 years after my first try on this I believe it’s fair to say, that this is simply a very poor beer. 150512
Bottle 50 cl. Clear - and presumably filtered - dark golden with only a small head. Very dry and bitter. Miles from the more sophisticated German and Belgian wheat beers. 4/3/5/2/9=2.3 140101

Light bronze; hint of iron, caramel, lightish, wheaty flavours with hints of lemon rind, roasty flavours; finishes with a crisp bitterness.
