Growlette share with my bud.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a muddled burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Mild stringy lacing.
The aroma has some grassy to earthy sweet hops with a sly bitterness to it.
The flavor leans mildly earthy/grassy sweet. Sly earthy sweet aftertaste. Mildly quick semi-sweet to dry earthy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable smooth crisp sweet feel to it. Carbonation seems to hit appropriately. Hops play a low key part in the harshness, but I’m treating this as an English pale ale.
Overall, as an English pale ale, it works. So pass the fish and chips as I would have this again.

On tap at drop in brewing. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is toffee caramel light hops. Taste is more of the sweet toffee caramel malts and a light earthy hop.
