On cask clear very nice reddish brown with a full tight tan head. Muted faint piney hop aroma, and light toasted malts. More woody piney bitterness in the flavors but also very smooth and full toasted malts here as well. Woody and some notesnof coco and a touch of the mint. Tho I suspect the latter has faded a bit. Slow lingering hop bite and a very soft smooth palate. Good

Tap @ Taphouse Boise. Pours a brown/chestnut color with a small ring of tan head. I found the aroma to be off-putting; it really seemed like dirty dishwater… some florals and mint, but overall not good. Thankfully it tastes better than it smells, light mint and malty. Sweet, lightly bitter. Bleh. I hate giving a new brew by my favorite local brewery such a low score, but I just can’t find anything that I like about this one.
