Würzig herber Antrunk. Anschließend ist das Bier leicht getreidig, die Aromen aus dem Antrunk bleiben erhalten und steigern sich dann. Leider wird das süßliche Bier zum Ende wässrig. Süß-herber, wenig dumpfer Abgang. 8/9/11/8/8/8

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub! Clear golden colour, large white head, like beaten eggwhite. Malty, full-bodied, grainy hints, hints of honey, hoppy finish, herbal-dusty. Solid.

Bottle: Golden, slowly collapsing mid-sized white head with a little lace, bisquity-strawy nose with a light herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering dryish bitter-sweet finish. Good and well balanced...

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond foamy head of medium size. Biscuity malty aroma with traces of cara-malt, draff and a delicately herbal hoppy blend. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt-accented taste with notes of biscuits and a tinge of cara-malt; dry-out effect towards the sweet-bitter and slightly herbal hoppy finish. A solid but also not overly exciting Festbier-Märzen. 23.VIII.11
