The Brewery was founded in 1367. The brewery has been family-owned since 1879. The owners still maintain the old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite monastery. The lively mix of yesterday and today, old and new, is increasingly being demanded and valued beyond the borders of our homeland. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturation times are the basis for the excellent taste and digestibility of our beer specialties.
