Flascherl: Deep ruby-amber coloured, hazy, medium-sized and pretty stable loose off-white head; moderate sweet nose of caramel, dried fruits, wood and vanilla and port-vinous alcohol; moderate to solid sweet and mildly bitter flavour, nearly full bodied and neither soft nor tart; lingering sweet-bitter vinous and caramelly-fruity finish with hints of cacao or chocolate. A liquid cake. Moreish...

Boozy barrel aroma, chemically stripped vanilla. Murky brown, brown lace. Medium light. Barrel and booze dominates. Ok malty praline and chewy Doppelbock finish.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before July 2018. Minimally hazy, dark amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, vanilla and some honey. Quite sweet, malty taste of caramel, honey, vanilla and hints of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly boozy and a bit woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
