On Tap at the BP. Clear redish brown with a small but dense and creamy tan head. Spotty lacing tries in vain to cling to the side of the class. Pale faint malty aroma. Flavor is wooody and malty. Touch of brown sugar and an soft smoooth palatte. Very drinkable and goood overall.

Draft at brewpub: Pours a dark mahoghany color with a modest off white head. Nose is sweet with maltiness and light citrus. Taste is malty with roast, caramel, citrus, and a little smokiness. A little bit of hops present, but mostly malt oriented. This solid ale is one of McCall’s better brews.

Tap at brewpub Pours out a very dark red topped with a small off white head. A very sweet aroma and tast. A little alcohol tast on it. Pretty good.
