On tap at Sct Clemens. It pours a dense, light beige head over an unclear, dark amber body. The aroma is quite buttery, with caramel and something herbal. Might be heather. Soft on the palate, medium body, semi-dry. Caramel and a light herbal note in the flavour. Some bitterness towards the end. A decent beer, although a bit buttery in the aroma. 120820

On tap. Hazy amber with a creamy beige head. Discreet caramel aroma and a downplayed - not unpleasant - spicy twist. Some diacetyl as well I’m afraid. Medium body, a sweet/tart fruitiness. Unfortunately the beer is spoiled by a distinct fustiness, this is really moldy and it dominates the flavour totally. A distinct - herbal? - bitterness. The storytelling behind is a lot more interesting than the actual beer. 130312

Draft. A hazy dark red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, caramel, and phenols, leading to a dry phenolic finish. High fermenting temperature?
