12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 9/16/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Some apricot/apple fruitiness as it warms. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A little too yeasty/fruity, but not overwhelming. Taste of big honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, pepper, and flora/grassy/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Nicely clean on lager flavors; with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.7%. Overall this is a very good helles bock. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and quite refreshing to drink. Really well done for the style. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet bread and grains with a touch of cookie. Flavor is similar with sweet grains and cookie up front but more of a bread finish.

Light Yellow, Good Head, Some Lacing. A little thin, on watery side. Some Sweet Malt and light bitter aftertaste. While it may be fine and easy to drink, nothing stands out and is forgettable.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and yeasty with notes of honey and candied golden fruits. The flavor was sweet sugar, tangy bread, faint honey and pear. The finish was medium length tangy sugar and bread. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Clean malty nose with a slight whiff of metals. Fairly good malty body, good flowery hops leaving a decent bitterness. Rather straight Heller Bock if somewhat to the sweet side. 190412
