Bit unclear, dark brown colored, medium tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt, some chocolate, bit toast, light caramel, light herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, some chocolate and roasted malt, some caramel, light+ herbal hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit watery. Not bad at all. (on tap, Karel IV brewery)

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of roast and touches of chocolate. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with some bready and hoppy notes. Roasty aftertaste with estery hints. Soft carbonation. Not bad, although a little thin.

draught in a little pivnice in Tynska, just off Staromestske namesti, Prague. What a surprise to find this in the touzrist heart of the city. Dark brown colour, creamy beige head. Malty with chocolate, caramel, roasetd malts and a touch of coffee. Smooth palate. Well crafted dark Czech lager.
