Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark brown colour with frothy tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, big hazelnuts, coffee and boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, oily, roasty, liqourice, big boozy hazelnut palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. This beer certainly makes a statement!

This is wonderful. Hazelnut suplexes the booze. This beer is like Mourinho, special. Come to RBS for this, you won't regret it.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small thick brown head. Aromas of sweet hazelnut, chocolate milk, nutella, coffee, light malt. Taste is light bitter, dark fruits, hazelnut, nutella, chocolate milk, subtle roasty ashy notes, vanilla, oak, booze.

2019 bottle from Holiday Market. This might need a new listing as the ABV is now up to 11%. Pours a pitch black with a finger of beige head that lingers, then dissipates. Big hazelnut forward nose with bourbon, marzipan, cacao nib, marshmallow and faint coffee aromas. Medium body on the palate with good carbonation. Coffee, cacao and more hazelnut on the palate with some hot bourbon notes toward the finish. Lingering booze, brownie and hazelnut. Pitch black, oily body, with a tiny, creamy, beige head.
Lovely aroma of hazelnut, dark chocolate fudge, coffee, vanilla, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, a bit less sweet, with more liquorice, the bourbon a bit noticeable, some alcohol.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes warm, roasty, medium sweet, a bit dry, wooden, with bourbon barrel, dark chocolate, nuts, liquorice, some coffee.
Tasty! The nose is very beautiful, reminds me of an Omnipollo Imperial Stout. Very well integrated bourbon barrel, which is quite prominent towards the finish. Lovely, rich sipper.

0,354l bottle at home shared with Saeglopur, bought at De Bierliefhebber. black color, small tan colored head. smells of hazelnuts, some milk coffee, light vanilla, bitter chocolate. very nice smell. full body, light carboantion, slick mouthfeel. tastes of hazelnuts, light soy sauce, bit medical, vanilla, peppery, spices, earthy, bit sticky on the tongue, bit artifical. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of hazelnuts, vanilla and some earthy notes. nice one, nice hazelnut notes, a bit on the artificial side though, vanilla a bit too noticeable for me.

355ml bottle, thanks Sten. Dark black brown pour with beige foam bubbles on the top. Full on hazelnuts in the nose, lots of them, sweet and creamy. Taste has lots of hazelnuts also, light coconut but lots of chocolate and sweet cocoa, some boozy spirit edge there as well. Cocoa cookies with huge hazelnuts crust. Long hazelnut linger in the finish, drier and bitter linger.
