Bottle from a Costcutter in Penzance. Pours golden amber with transient white bubbles. Floral aroma. Med body. Flavor is floral\fruit\citrus over light caramel. Drinks well, but has a touch of sour which seems strange for a blonde ale.

Cask handpull at Malt Shovel Northampton. Not bad. 8 rates on a Sunday evening in a new town. Pale gold thin white head. Its a little ascetic. Soft in mouth. Its not a great golden ale. Just lacking a bit of oomph. No real bad flavours though. An ok golden ale with a touch of sour grapefruit which is quite interesting. I want to get to the bottle of lambic though. Cantillon for less than 4 quid.
