Dark brown color with mahogany shades. Very dark color, with mahogany/red shades, and a beautiful necklace. The aroma is immediately cheesy and yeasty, not what expected, but appreciated somehow. Chocolate flavor, with some sweetness, and a very strong yeast presence (less interesting here than the aroma); bold bitterness; the alcohol warmth is perceived more than expected.

From tap at Solana Beach. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty with a light fruity note. Roasted and slight bitter flavoured. Smooth roasted and lingering dark malty into the finish.
