At the source: Pours mahogany with beige head. Aroma is pretzel and so is the taste. Lightly sweet. Some little hoppy tinges toward the finish. Some cigar. Not bad at all. Easily the best beer they had.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a huge and slight off-white head. Aroma is solid vanilla and fruity, very strange. Distinct vanilla, dry raspberry fruity and roasted malt flavoured. No sweetness. Lasting vanilla and raspberry fruity flavoured finish. Very strange brew. Flat mouthfeel.

Draft at the brewpub - it was called brune but was brewed with raspberries, so I’m not sure that it is the same beer as Alex has rated. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries as well as medium notes of malt. The flavor is sweet combined with acidic notes of raspberries, malt, and straw, but also a very faint note of phenol.

Dark amber color. Nice aroma of malt, roasted malt and chocolate, same for the flavor. The chocolate touch is very interesting!
