Brewed for Café Svejk, Frederiksberg, Denmark.
"The first Christmas beer from the Czech Republic. It has for a Czech beer a very high original gravity of 16 degrees. It is a light unfiltered beer."
"Special version of the Kníže".

bottle as "Knize", 16° @ 7.2% from Tesco Národní, Praha. Clear deep golden colour, sweet and malty nose. Malty-sweet with hints of peach, slightly hoppy in the finish. Sticky mouthfeel, some residual sugars present. Still a nice one.

From tap at svejk. Pours slight cloudy orange with a diminished white head. Solid mat and a mild alcohol presence in the nose. Light yeasty and hoppy too. Smooth malty with a lovely fruit yeasty accent. Mild sweetness and light caramel malt yet all backed up by a medium body. Warming and smooth finish with a lasting mild fruity impression. Very nice.

A hazy orange beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a distinct alcohol note, and the flavor is quite sweet malty and very powerful. The alcohol is very evident both in the flavor and felt in the mouth. Towards the end a slight spicyness appears.
