An opaque black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of both chocolate and hops. The flavor also has light notes of both chocolate and hops, leading to a dry end. A very easily drinkable beer - but not very German in it’s expression even though it should be a mixture of two German styles - I find th hops to be a bit too pronounced to ever make it a German beer. But nevertheless it is a very nice beer.
