Named after brewmaster Torsten Frank. Lots of bitter units wrapped in a delicious malt body. First Gold and Centennial hops to give an underlying and yet distinctive hop flavor. Unfiltered and unpasteurized. Matured in bottle.

Hazy amber color; medium sized creamy head. Mild aroma, some fruity hops (apricot) and light yeast. Correct mouthfeel, moderate malt flavor, with good bitterness level, but the hop aromatic components (fruitiness and resins) are not too exciting.
Simple but acceptable brew.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Interesting hop aroma - more tropical than citrusy. Rich body, loads of peaches and mango atop some caramel and a solid bitter finish. Not really an American-style IPA but a solid effort none the less - I really dig the fresh tropical fruits in it. 030412
