A fruity, tropical session IPA.
Pull on your headphones and sample a can of this Session IPA collaboration with Tape Op Magazine, the premier publication for sound engineers and audiophiles. Overdub IPA is a Fort George favorite, a sensory overload of mango and papaya aromas, grapefruit tones, and mellow citrus.
Hops: Mosaic, Citra
Malts: Rahr Pils, GM Flaked Oats, Weyermann Acidulated
Larry Crane founded Tape Op Magazine in 1996. We first talked about a beer collaboration back in 2014, when Larry just happened to be visiting the Lovell Taproom on vacation. He's a fan of Fort George and IPAs, and we're fans of Larry Crane and Tape Op.

500ml Can [from trade with ardyexfor] @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is hops, incredibly fruity, lovely grapefruit and tropical fruit. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, very bitter, grapefruit, grapefruit bitter. Suitable medium body, medium carbonation. Absolutely delicious!

500mL can, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals notes of tropical stone fruits, dry biscuity malt, and a bit of dank feety smell. Flavour is very dry, with lots of stone fruity, citrus hops, and bone dry biscuity malt. Nice dank earthiness on the finish as well. Well-balanced, with a dry finish. Excellent.

Can from Brewers Haven. Nice and crisp session IPA, pleasant hops bitterness in taste, grapefruit/citrus aroma. Light bodied, enjoyable IPA, perfect summer drink.

16 oz can. Aroma is flipping great, with grapefruit and tropical fruit standing out in a major way. Pours hazy golden with a medium white head with good retention; leaves some creamy lace. Taste has medium-high bitterness, not as impressive as the aroma (what is it with these IPAs I’m drinking lately?). Somewhat harsh carbonation, medium to thin body. Good, not great. Edit: aroma deteriorates after it sits, exuding unpleasant vegetal and malty notes.
