This lager is a classic Munich Style Dunkel: a five grain beer with medium carbonation, dark in color, yet light bodied with a toasty finish. Our Dunkel is our most decorated World Expo of Beer winner, bringing back the 2016 Gold Medal for Best Dark Lager, as well as Silver Medals in 2018 and 2022 and Bronze in 2019 and 2023.

Can from me manager. Aroma has coffee and berries with a yeastie streak. Opaque dark brown. Thick foamy beige head. A tangy introduction. Sour berries. A metallic hint. Followed by light coffee bitterness. Malts. Soda. Light. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot. Not too sweet which for me is a positive.
