From backlog. Taster, from Bottle, during MBCC Gold Beer Walk. (As 2022 Vintage) Black with little head. Roar, malts, booze, bitterness. Strong.

Poured from bottle (2022 version, 25% ABV, MBCC gold walk share). Near black, very minimal beige head. Overly boozy, mild roast, okay, but needs more depth.

2022 version at 25% ABV. Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall beige frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Roasted malt, caramel, higher spirits, coffee and chocolate, dried fruit, moderate schnaps-like alcohol, hop. Light to medium sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: Full & thick. Summary: Good.

Bottle 33 cl. Very thick, black-brown. Aroma: strong, caramel, blended whisky, a little metal, light smoke, bread, orange liqueur, iodine. Strong taste: liquid bread, caramel, smoked, peated, caramel, dried fruit, powerful, good barley liqueur.
