Draught@CPH BF 2013. More or less black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some liquorice, mild spruce and some toasted notes. Flavour is mild toasted malts, some fruits, liquorice, spruce and mild herbal notes. Thanks to the mellow use of dark malts, this is actually a balanced and nice brew.

Draught @ Søernes Ølbar, Copenhagan. Pours black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter fruity hops, grapefruit, pine, light catspiss. Flavor is malts, dark chocolate, bitter fruity hops, grapefruit, pine, resin. Medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. 030513

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Black with a large beige head. Smells like a nice IPA. Aroma of fruit (tropical), roasted malt, pine, peach and a hint of citrus, coffee and chocolate. Full body with a creamy feel. Sweet, fruity and malty with a nice hoppy and bitter finish. Very well balanced. Noticable alcohol, but well integrated. Hoppy and chocolaty aftertaste. Nice BIPA. Draft @ DØE BeerFest 2012. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a slightly roasted malty hoppy piney aroma. Roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice flavor with piney hints. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter piney finish.

On tap, 100ml, at Ølfestival 2012. Beige patchy head covering a devil-black body. Smell of earthy dark malts with notes of dusty hops. Roasted, semi-sweet malts in flavour mixed with dark fruits and anise. Lingering malt-bitter finish. Pleasing Black IPA (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

Tap @ DØE Øl Festival 2012. Almost black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little hop, little caramel and a little butter. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, hops, little liquorice, medium sweet and a little bitter.

[5/12/12] Draught sample at Ølfestival København 2012. Black with a beige-light brown head. Roasty aroma with a bit of yeast, candy-ish nores and some hops. Roasty flavor, quite dry, with light sweetness and quite a bit of slightly citric hop bitterness. Quite nice.

Draught. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hopy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Chocolate notes. Creamy palate.

pitch dark, smooth light brown head. Mild roasted malty aroma, also a good dose of bitter hops. Flavor is lots of roasted malts, hoppy balance, dry, more a stout than an ipa but super tasty and fresh
