Flaska från SB julen 2016. Mörkbrun med liten röd ton. Söt maltig doft med snygg djup doft av mörkt socker, sött mörktbröd, mörk fruktkaka. Robust och rustik, söt upp att bli sliskig och bra djup i smakbilden. TRevlig stabil bock.

Black and oily with quick fading head. Aroma is very strong with dark bittersweet malts. Hints of bay leaf and liquorice too. Flavour also has a little cocoa and some earthy notes too. Very full flavoured. Creamy texture.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, small head. Treacle and strawberries up front. Sweet with medium-full body and clean mouthfeel. Syrup and treacle, some milk and red berries. Low bitterness.

Bottled, Swedish version at 6.8%. Really black with small heas. Evident coffee aroma. Sweet with rounded, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Medium bodied with some coffee and tar. Salty tarry finish. Feels slimmer than expected, but provides lots of flavour. The most interesting beer I’ve tasted from Stallhagen to date.
