Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Ashtray notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Strong astray/smoked notes. Not that pleasent. Average moderate bitter finish. The whiskey adds alas nothing good to this beer only bad stuff. However I am an Islay fan.......

Black color; brownish head. In the beginning the peat whiskey aroma is dominating; then some cardboard appears along; also light sourness. Dry mouthfeel, some roasted malt flavor, some peat, light sourness, but very confused beer overall.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of camons. Thanks René! Black appearance with a dark brown head that dissipates pretty quickly. Burnt tar, peaty, roasty, dark malty aroma. A little thin, tangy, burnt tar, charred, organic, peaty flavor that’s actually quite sweet. Interesting beer. Nice choice.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of iodine, peated smoke, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of iodine, roasted malt, caramel, and peated smoke, leading to a dry finish. A bit too much.
