Draft at the brewpub. Poured a pretty dark, almost pitch-black brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was dark roasted malts, some dark fruits, roast, caramel. Flavor was bitter roasted malts, chocolate notes. Okay, a bit thin, but very boozy.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours an inky dark brown color with a thin tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of dark roasted malts, tobacco, leather, faint notes of plum and caramel. The taste is roasted malts, smoke, bitter chocolate, leather, bitter hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, faint booze, hi carbonation.
