Draft at the 4th Annual Mad Fox Barleywine Fest (Sunday). Poured a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head. Aroma was light caramel notes, sweetness, smells like a Vintage 50 beer. Sweet malts, not too boozy, some citrus and a touch tropical notes.

On draft at Mad Fox during barley wine fest 2014. Pours a clear honey with an off white head. Aroma of peach and caramel. Flavors of herbal hops with a boozy malt finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, stone fruits, canned fruit, toffee, caramel, mild earth. Taste is toffee, caramel, stone fruits, citrus, earth, tropical hops. Medium-full bodied, low booze, low carbonation, good balance.
