Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel, citrus and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Sample at the brewery. Pours a hazy, orangish-brown color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is orange peels, pumpernickel, rye, honey, and apricots. Some malty, grainy sweetness, with a significant, mellow bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and astringent. Overall, this is a hoppy, aggressive amber ale, with a great aroma. I could drink lots of this...
