Warning, Tempest incoming! Blonde with an innocent allure, round and sweet on the palate. Its strength, however, indicates a strong beer, grading to 8% alcohol by volume. This explains its name of “triple”, that is to say of a strong and round blonde. Well built, the Tempête (The Storm) will perfectly complement a brewery dish, such as sauerkraut or fondue, or a good cheese.

33 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE 11.10.2014
Aroma has lots of butter, some grain and a ’German’ feeling. Flavour has butter, apricot and some grass. Somewhat grassy Belgian strong pale. Hides the ABV nicely. Looking at the RB score this looks a bit underestimated.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy and opaque golden with a white head. The nose has some fruit and Belgian yeast. Solid body, overripe fruit and some rather aggressive and unpleasant phenols that spoil most of the fun. Some alcohol in the finish. 250810
