In honor of "American Mild Month" founded by Alistair Reese of Fuggled.net, we brewed our take on a Dark English Mild, which is one of the most underrated, underappreciated styles in this country. This low in alcohol, suppression beer weighs in at a humble 3.2% ABV, but packs a punch with wonderful and complex malt profile including caramel, raisin, nutty roasty flavors. This beer, you can enjoy four hours and hours and hours.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a light brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light chocolate, toasted notes, some nuts. Light nutty notes. Light malt, caramel notes. Due to low abv, it’s easy to drink.

Keg at the brewery, 5/9/15. Clear dark brown, thin frothy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of roasted malts, toasted malts, nuts, dark fruits. The taste is nuts, toffee, toasted malt, caramel and earthy hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, lingering bitterness. Refreshing.
