Sampled on draft the brewpub this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a medium sized foamy off-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish and bready with a strong distinct jalapeno presence. The flavor was vague hot pepper, a hint of fruity hops and a touch of bread. Long hot pepper finish. Medium body. Tasty.

4 oz pour on draft at Capitol City Shirlington. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of jalapeno flesh and skin mostly. Tastes of jalapeno skin and flesh, light citrus, floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish. No pepper heat, just flavor mostly.

Poured a mostly clear ruby red color with a one finger slightly off-white head. Aroma was mostly light sweet malts, light grain. Not a lot of jalapeño to be perfectly honest. Mild green peppers in the flavor, but tastes mostly like the normal Pale Rider. Very mild heat. Not asking for it to be spicy, but lacks even a peppery roast.
