Our Cider with Ginger is made with fresh ginger root and our Farmhouse cider. We mix precise amounts of fresh grated ginger with the cider resulting in a warmly aromatic, fragrant hard cider, which dances on the tongue much like real ginger ale. Ginger is widely used in food and drink. Here at Mt. Defiance we pay homage to these traditional uses by blending it with our cider for a delicious and very different taste.

Draft sample at Mount Defiance as part of the tasting flight. Clear whitish yellow. Aromas of ginger and apples. Tastes of apples, champagne, light ginger. Light body with a dry finish.

750ml bottle, given to me by a friend. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a still head. Aroma was heavy ginger, light apples, sweet notes of apples but not too overly sweet, though my fiance said it was bland and tasteless, aside from light ginger.
