Pours a dark brown appearance with a thin light brown head. Somewhat nutty, rich caramel, a big herbal nose. Candy caramel, chocolate, a bit nutty flavor. Not super fresh but alright.

Bottle. It pours a clear, brown body under a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the malty side, with roasted and chocolatey notes beneath. Not much hoppyness going on. The flavor is mostly roasted, with some underlying coffee and roasted malt. A touch of dried fruits blend in, becoming stronger towards the end. Medium body, quite dry. Nice bitterness in the end, both roasted and hoppy. Overall, a quite ordinary one, but not bad in any way. 120217
