Draft at the First LoCo Brew Festival. Poured a near pitch black color, perhaps more like cola colored than black. Not much of a head to speak of on this pour though, some light tan wispy notes. Aroma was light sweet roast, some light chocolate, touch of leafy hops. Flavor reminded me a bit more of a overly-roasted black IPA, earthy hops, lots of burnt roast notes. If it was a little more dry or a little less roasted, itβd be just about perfect.
