From the hazelnut capital of the United States, our Hazelnut Brown Ale is a nutty twist on a European brown ale, originally crafted by Rogue Brewmaster John Maier’s good friend and avid home-brewer, Chris Studach. Winner of five Great American Beer Festival medals, this sessionable brew showcases Oregon’s state nut with distinct hazelnut flavors and aromas. This award-winning ale remains a fan favorite all year long.

Bottiglia.

This is a very flavorful brown ale that has a hazelnut finish to a rich nutty brown ale. One or two are very pleasant, but I don't know if I'd want to drink several at once - maybe a little too much of a good thing. Very good beer all the same.

Can. Day 14 of the Beer Republic Advent Calendar, in its Hazlenut Brown Ale guise. Aroma combines nuts and caramel. Opaque dark toffee brown. Thick foamy beige head. As per the aroma we have a nuttiness and caramel. However the first impression for me is a a fruity citrusy sweet and sour streak. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.
