Draught at Valhal.Black colour with creamy beige head.Aroma is smooth rosted with taste of coffee,caramel and,dried fruits,mild and light finish.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, lemons, hops, yeast, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malt, light fruity and chocolate. Thick malty, light citrusy, chocolate and dense bitter. Rather dry and dark roasted malty finish.3.5
From tap at the brewpub, 6.6%. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and liqourice. Citrusy, peachy and dark roasted malty. More black IPA than porter imho. Bitter, fruity and lmost tarish dark malty. Perhaps it is the classic Brewpub brew flaw that seems to work for them here, gets a bit disturbing further into the beer. Bitter and dry. Almost herbal roasted and hoppy finish.3.5
