Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit and dark malts, with chocolate, licorice and mild coffee. Sweet and roasted malt flavour with lots of dark chocolate.

300ml from tap at the brewpub, paired with food. Jet black body, close to naked at the top, spotty lacing to the glassware. Smell of grainy malts and liquorice. Semi-tart fruity taste joined by dark wheat. Liquorice bitterness on the swallow. Accepted (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012).

Fra fat på DØE festivalen: lite aroma men fyldig og god smak med et streif av humle. Står seg godt mot mange av de andre porterene på festivalen.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2012. Pours dark brown with a small white head. Roast, charcoal and chocolate. Bitter and dry. Smooth and medium bodied.

Draught @ Brewpub Kobenhavn, Vestergade 29, 1456 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light licorice. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120202]

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter nice roasted flavor. Some licorice notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a ligh brown head. Pleasant roasty aroma. Medium body, hard roast malt with an ashy whiff and a light malt bitterness. Quite ok. 280112
