650 ml bottle. Pours a murky, brownish orange with an average, beige head that laces. Sweet, malty aroma of caramel, dried fruit and bread. Sweet malty flavour of caramel and dried fruit with a dry, bitter, light pine finish. Medium body with a thick, oily texture and soft carbonation. Ok, not really an IPA though.

Whole orange, apricot, and rosehip nose, strong. Hazy copper, thin yellow head, decent lacing. Flavor is decidedly less fruity, but still good. Orange and tea hop notes, roasted malt is prominent. Aspirin overtones throughout. Resinous bitter orange peel finish. When quaffed, the biting bitterness isn’t as noticeable.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Norm's, 3/30/12

Aroma: The nose has some (slightly chemically) caramel malts with some earthy and floral hops
Appearance: It pours a cloudy dark orange color with just a little bit of head and lightly scattered lace
Flavor: It tastes similar to the nose, less chemically though, balanced, sweet up-front and bitter finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a fairly soft carbonation, a slightly creamy feel, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This one is fine, but it isn't anything more then that. The nose is just a touch off, but the taste is slightly better. It wasn't a standout for me.
