We’re incredibly honoured here at Polly’s that we’ve reached a level with our brewing and reputation that our hop suppliers give us pretty much carte blanche with what we’re able to source. Whether it’s the freshest crop of the classics, or the very newest hype hops setting the brewing world alight, we’re granted access to these incredible varietals to utilise within our brewing journey. With After Hours, we wanted to take what we feel are the strongest examples of fruit-forward showcase hops from three separate countries and pit them against eachother in a three-way showcase beer. Representing New Zealand is in-house favourite Nelson Sauvin and its swagbag of juicy gooseberry, wine grape and lychee notes, whilst near-neighbour Galaxy is flying the flag for Australia and bringing with it those characteristic Peach and Passionfruit aromatics. Rounding things off for the United States is Simcoe; balancing everything with its own showcase of stonefruit sweetness, backed up with a piney resinous backbone. Swish.

Can from Beer Zoo. Murky golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and apricot. Flavour of pineapple, orange pith and white bread. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Hoppy and pithy.
