Can, at Patricks. A hazy copper colored beer with a finger thick offwhite head. Quite malty aroma with a good dash of pine cones and grape fruit. It's full bodied, smoothly carbonated and semi-dry, with a fine bitterness. Bready malts, caramel hints and a pleasant piney, grapefruity hoppyness. Dry, bitter and piney finish with bready malts in the back. A quite delicious old-school IPA. 200731

Can at a tasting, thanks to Wendigo. The only major drawback to this beer is a solid oxidation going on. Otherwise there is moderate body, also associated caramelly maltiness. Med-med-high bitterness. General resiny zesty citrusy character. Good one.

Can brought by Lubka from Japan, thanks. Hoppy aroma and taste, malty notes, light floral notes and caramel, medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy and malty bitter finish. Ok.

Can, kindly donated by Wendigo, many thanks. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, citrus hops. Taste, solid malty base with citrus hops, zest, pines, bit caramel. Good.

Can bought from Bic Camera. Golden coloured and very clear with a white fluffy head. Aroma is pine, a bit b.o., bit bread. Quite fruity and a bit musky. Taste is unsurprisingly bitter with quite a prickly texture in the mouth, but quite solid too. Bitter and fruity finish. Exactly what I was expecting, but not in an unpleasant way. Nice but unspectacular.

Can. Golden color. Citrus, lychee and soft herbal notes in the aroma. Firm herbal hopbitter flavor with citrus and a hint of peach. Pleasant but firm hopbitter finish.

Can from Conveni, Hakuba Tsugaike. A proper american style ale for sure. Old hops used well to deliver some fruitiness. Yummu craft.

Surprisingly good for a West-Coast-by-way-of-Japan American IPA, with a solid caramel malt backbone and a clingy, resinous pine bitterness on the back end. Modest grapefruit and lime notes add citric flair, but the finish is all about the hop vitriol, a nice antidote to bland NEIPA fades. I could go for another pint...
