Bottle, 6.5%. Fruity and farty malt aroma. Dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is also sweet and malty, not so farty, but a little brown sugar. Does not taste like Bock, but it is so yeasty that I think it is more like a Belgian Dubbel.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, metal, over ripe fruits, and metal, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. A copper to brown colored beer topped by a medium sized, light beige head. Butterscotch, caramel, nuts and coffee on the nose, the butterscotch dominating. The butterscotch levels are equally unpleasant in the flavor, where there’s also caramel and some lemon juice. Medium body, quite dry. Certainly something bad going on here, will have to try another bottle, even though there’s several reports on this beer being off. Rating: 2-3-2-3-4-1.4. 120106

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark reddish brown body under a finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is buttery and caramel malty with some dried fruits blending in. The flavor has the same buttery caramel as the aroma, not very pleasant I think. Coffee too. It’s lightly roasted too. Medium to full body, decent carbonation. Caramel, buttery finish with some dried fruits. Well, it’s way too buttery, but it’s not undrinkable. 120204

500ml old fashioned bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes in Tromsø. Deep mahogany coloured body. Diminishing beige head. Burnt malty nose with liquorice sweetness. Weird taste of sour, dark malts with a note of acid reflux. Drain pour (rating session with Elisabeth and Stefan, Tromsø 03.01.2012).
