Bottle. A reddish brown beer with a small, dense, light beige head. Not much barrel in the aroma, but a solid dose of dried fruits, candi sugar and yeast influence. Some boozy notes. The flavor is sweet, with dried fruits, a lightly roasted touch, some licorice hints and dark sugar. Quite warming, full-bodied. Nice bitterness in the end, as well as sugary sweetness and alcohol warmth. Overall, too warming, else a nice one. 120218

Bottled@SBWF2011. Deep copper colour with some slight haze. Mediumsized beige head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is wood, sugar, mild fruityness as well as some slight spices and maltyness. Flavour is rather similar with some mild toasted maltyness as well as some slight alcoholic hints as well. Better balanced in this than in the normal one.
