Well matured bottle. Almost clear dark amber body with a small beige head. Strong and good aroma of dry fruit, caramel malt, warming alcohol with hint of wood. Flavor is pretty sweet but in a nice and warming way with dry fruit, caramel malt and a little port wine. Fine balanced body and long lasting, sweet and warming aftertaste. A really nice sipper.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el Lupulo. Octubre 2013. (r37). Barrel aged 2011 Royal Lochnagar Whisky 1998. Cask n 631. Elaborada 14..01..2011 embotellada 02..08..2011. Abadía con toques de maderas en whisky algo dulce y con un buen cuerpo de 10 vol que se nota desde el principio. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.

0.33l bottle. Cloudy deep brown-red in the glass, almost on the verge of being murky, and it has a nice medium sized beige top. It smells quite nice. Sweet and sticky, lot's of dark caramel blended with a banana-like fruitiness. Raisins and dates also shines through with tones of wood. In taste you really get the whisky flavor. Oh yeah, woody, boozy light smoky whisky. Really nice. It's sweet alright, good fruity with more concentrated raisins, dark sticky caramel and dates along with tons of nuts! It's rich and thick in texture with a soft to average carbonation level. After a while a sneaky sour undertone from the wood appears and gives it a new dimension. Gives me much pleasure drinking this right now. 22.09.2012

Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit, some spice and plenty of alcohol. Sweet and alcoholic flavour with some dried fruit. Waste of barrel time apparently

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy dark amber with a lacing off-white head. Boozy aroma with some underlying dark fruits. Solid body, carbonation is a little low, very, very sweet burned caramel and dark fruits with only a subtle impact of the barrel. No real bitterness but boozy - just as it started. 180212
