Bottle at home from indepdent shop in Brighton. Aroma of smelly feet was unpleasant. Didn’t find its target, too sour for a Christmas ale and not flavourful enough for an interesting stout. Quite unpleasant.

Cask (handpump) @ The Masque Haunt - JDW, 168-172 Old Street, Old Street, Greater London, England EC1V 9BP.Clear dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dark malt, tobacco, mild spices, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, english licorice, alcohol, dark malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20111210]
