Otter Bitter is our ‘session’ beer. A beer designed to slip down easily and refresh all parts of the body that need refreshing. High in taste and low in gravity makes Otter Bitter a long term friend.

Otter Bitter has great condition which adds to its flavour profile. Fruit notes and well balanced malty flavours are tinged with a hint of bitterness to make Otter Bitter a Devon beer of distinction.

Bottle. A minimal sized off-white to white head sits on top of a lightly unclear golden body. The aroma has some bready, almost toffee-like maltyness, as well as fruityness and some resin. The flavor has the same bready, toffee-like maltyness, followed by fruityness and some bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Nice bitterness in the end. Overall, a quite decent one, session style. 120217

Cask at the White Hart, Tongham - just down the road from the Hogs Back Brewery. Hazy pale amber with a loose cream head; fruity malt aroma; crisp fruity malt flavour with some apple and apricot; gentle but strongly bitter finish, leaving a classic English hop taste. An excellent ordinary bitter.
